Welcome to Aryabhata Science Museum

Aryabhata Science Museum is developed and maintained by Aryabhata Science and Technology Society. The Museum and a knowledge centre was established on 20-11-2006 by the President, Mr.P.Satyanarayana Murty a retired principle and a passionate teacher in Housing Board Colony, Rajahmundry, East Godavari District, Andhra Pradesh in the accommodation of 8 rooms in the 1st and 2nd floors of the building. In 3rd floor there is 36 feet long concrete model of Aeroplane structure.

This museum preserves some of the antique creations, which belong to India and other artefacts that were imported from China and Italy.

The main items and subjects in the Museum galleries are human anatomy, physical sciences, life sciences, snakes and reptiles kept in formalin liquid, historical monuments, some models of multi purpose projects, models of different dinosaurs, art models, one big dead turtle etc.,

Furthermore, this museum has several halls, which organise exhibitions on subjects like Geography, Geology, Physics and many more. The museum also has some of the beautiful models of submarines, helicopter and warships. Besides these, this museum also presents some of the beautiful historical monuments in the form of models, out of which a 10 ft long Python is the main attraction.

At present the museum is attracting the visitors of all types, students, general public, educationists and thinkers etc.

This is a non profitable non governmental organization to create scientific thinking and knowledge among the students and society. Our objective is to create scientific attitude, scientific thinking and scientific temper among the student community.

This Museum provides activity based learning environment to inculcate to spirit of enquiry, to create talent and create scientific temper.

It is characterised by two prolonged channels of communication - exbits and activies while the exbits both indoor and outdoor mostly intaractive. The demostrations and training programs are fully paticipatory and help children and the adults alike to learn the basics of science through fun and enjoyment.

We are looking forwared to corporate sectors, NRIs and other Foundations and NGO associations to join their hands to develop this musuem. We have 80(G) and 12 (A) certificates all contribution have tax exemption.
